Job title VME Superstructure Engineer

Location Flexible (Occasional Travel to Manchester)

VME is a large-scale operating system and the VME team are responsible for supporting, developing and managing the VME operating system for our VME customers, these include large government and financial services customers.  There are around 180 of us in the team, in many different roles, and we work closely together to provide an exceptional service to our customers.  

We are currently seeking someone with technical VME experience to join the Managed Services Superstructure team as a Support Technician.


Your experience


Experience in system management tasks for VME systems, including Superstructure software TPMSX and IDMSX.
Skilled in diagnosing problems and fault resolution
Awareness of VME 3rd Party VME products
Experience in managing and supporting the VME host platforms Windows and/or RedHat Linux would be an advantage
Working in a team environment
Great communicator, mentor, and collaborator.
Self-starter, intuitive and participation in Out-of-hours support.
