Procurement Manager
Paris Area – France

Are you a strong negotiator? Do you have expertise in deploying and managing procurement strategies? Are you also a committed person with excellent communication skills and a background within IT? Then you are the one we are looking for to join our team as a Procurement Manager! 

In this challenging role you will be reporting to the Head of Country Procurement Western Europe, Nordics and Ireland.

As a Procurement Manager, you are responsible for Fujitsu’s France 3rd party spend which is annually around 100m€ including areas like Hardware, Software, Services and Corporate Spend. You deploy and manage procurement strategies, at country and project level, to ensure business needs and objectives are met. You develop appropriate relationships with Suppliers and the business for mutual benefit with the aim of delivering demonstrable advantage to Fujitsu and its customers. This role also includes the management of a team.

Keys accountabilities
•    Deploys and monitors country, bid and project level effective Procurement strategies for the nominated internal customers and stakeholders;
•    Delivering Value - Oversees the identification and execution of opportunities for financial returns, maximizes value, protects and delivers demonstrable benefit to the Fujitsu P&L (as per agreed targets);
•    Commercial Practice – Develops, defines and implements negotiation strategies for contracts. Drafts supplier contractual terms and conditions to minimise Fujitsu’s risk exposure; 
•    Key suppliers - Identification and management of key suppliers at a strategic level to ensure an effective relationship which delivers the maximum value whilst minimizing the commercial and financial risks to Fujitsu;
•    Manages effective teams (where relevant) – Manages and motivates team (both virtual and direct) on effective delivery of procurement and business objective;
•    Championing Responsible Procurement, practices, policies & processes;
•    Client Engagement – Understands their key clients, regularly engages with and builds strong engagement with relevant stakeholders. Encourages same approach through team; 
•    Provides consultancy to colleagues and/or bid teams ensuring innovative, responsive and competitive input to help win business; exploiting existing product / service offerings through the Capability Units or third parties;

Your profile
You have a Bachelor or University degree in economics, engineering or IT and you have a relevant experience in procurement with strong negotiation skills. As a person you are flexible and have a ”can do” attitude. You are focused on customer and stakeholder engagement. In addition, you feel at ease in an international environment.
