Key Responsibilities:
• To manage the above for a defined business area, in line with agreed service levels
• To provide regular updates to the relevant HR Business Partner(s) and other key stakeholders
• To manage the appropriate escalations within HR and the business for the managed cases within aligned business unit
• To define risk / benefit profile to the business for key outcomes and advise accordingly
• To support and provide input to continuous improvement projects within case management as required.
• To facilitate training in disciplinary/grievance/attendance management etc as required and to ensure that collateral is kept up to date

• Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative drawing on their own HR knowledgebase
• Ability to deal with ambiguity in a challenging and dynamic environment
• Strong emotional resilience evidenced by the ability to manage own workload, delivering challenging outcomes, including to challenging senior stakeholders.  
• Ability to build relationships, challenge and influence at all levels of the organisation
• Ability to speak up and share ideas, acting as a team member, not just an employee
• Solutions-focused team player who can work to deadlines
• Good verbal and written communication skills and attention to detail
• Proven ability to drive activities and deliver results

 

Skills, knowledge and experience
• Strong HR Knowledge gained in a HR Generalist role would be advantageous
• Highly analytical with the ability to investigate complex matters and provide solutions
• Excellent investigative skills including the ability to analyse complex situations and interpret financial information
• Proven experience in resolving challenging “people issues”
• Ability to build credible relationships with employees, managers, HRBPs, colleagues, and support functions
• Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly articulate company policy and process and work through challenging and sensitive issues
• Good knowledge of employment law
