Do you have profound knowledge of and experience in negotiating IT contracts? Do you have good communication skills and extensive experience in a Legal and Commercial position? Are you able to bring customer negotiations to a successful conclusion and can you complete business transactions which result in positive profit & loss performance and market growth? Then you are the one we are looking for to join our team as a Commercial Contract Manager!


In this role you will provide commercial support to one of our larger accounts in the north of the Netherlands, with a thorough understanding of the market and client. You monitor and ensure the successful delivery of business in accordance with the client’s contractual terms. Activities include leading and facilitating contract baseline reviews, contract reading, and advising and giving guidance in relation to the delivery of business in accordance with the contractual terms. You act as the first point of contact of the account team to clarify contractual content.

You are responsible for all legal commercial activities within this account and area, and you will as well assist in the decision making process on the client’s transactions, both new and ongoing.

You have the ability to reflect the impact of the negotiated terms on risks to delivery, the client relationship and Fujitsu’s profitability.


You guide the business in its understanding of what our contractual commitments are and if current account activities comply;

You identify, manage and mitigate business risks by judging acceptability of the overall risk level of deal options. You bring all known issues to the table and advise the business to take sensible decisions;

You advise and participate in formal dispute discussions. You identify where areas of conflict may arise and you recommend ways to resolve these dispute situations;

You maintain compliance to Fujitsu’s commercial standards and policies by sharing guidelines to the business;

You contribute to the definition of trading terms with customers and suppliers to meet business needs;

Your profile

  • You have a University degree and extensive experience as a Contract Manager in a commercial role. The International Association of Contract and Commercial Management accreditation is desirable. 
  • You are able to translate the impact of negotiated terms on the P&L and risk to delivery.
  • Furthermore you have experience working with deal structures, contract structures (terms and conditions) and schedules. 
  • Next to that you have good and developed Risk Management skills, good understanding of Pricing Structures and Methodologies. 
  • You have excellent communication skills, are able to take ownership and proactively improve ways of working. As a person you are flexible, analytical, a great team player and someone who has a good sense of humor. Last but not least you are able to work at least 3 to 4 days a week in the northern province of the Netherlands.
