� Work on design and implementation of the SDDC environment. � Good understanding of data center deployment design, how the components works together, understanding of the component level dependencies within and outside datacenter � Creation, modification of HLD and LLD documents. Indulge in project activates. � Bring in best practices and ensure infrastructure is running according to industry best practices. � install/configure hardware, software, and software fixes as necessary; and provide support for platforms as required � Ensure system stability, scalability, security and performance requirements � Diagnose, solve and deliver root cause analysis for infrastructure issues � Troubleshoot complex system-level problems with physical and virtual servers, and applications. � Implement and maintain security controls on all corporate systems � Design and implement core VMware vSphere and VMware vCloud Suite components. � Assist with audit compliance mandates � Manage problem escalation and communicate with senior management as necessary � Provide guidance on process improvements, standardization efforts, technology deployment and strategic and tactical implementations � Handle system performance tuning, monitoring, and maintain fault tolerance � Coordinate with business units on initiatives and recommend new information systems � Perform research in order to evaluate LAN requirements and identify/resolve specific issues. � Respond to emails submitted by customers and peers � Obtain fixes from vendors and install according to established procedures � Deploy and decommission systems per corporate standards Identify, research, evaluate and implement emerging technologies � Identify ways to increase service quality while decreasing outages and Mean Time to Repair (MTTR) � Develop and implement automation and management tools � Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources � Participate in Disaster Recovery planning, implementation & testing � Modify procedures and policies in server support area per corporate standards � Help the team with BAU operations like change and incident management, escalations handling etc. � Plan cloud migration strategy and implement the best solution which suits customer�s needs. � Integrate, map the VMware Cloud solution to technical requirements and support the deployment of the solution based on the content defined the statement of work. Qualifications: � Bachelor�s Degree in Computer Science, IT or related field or equivalent work experience � Industry recognized certifications (VCP-6 preferred), vCAP-DCV will be an advantage. � 10+ years of hands-on Corporate IT/Network experience with solid experience in designing VMware Cloud infrastructure. � In-depth understanding of VMware vSphere and VMware, storage, network, and associated technologies � Demonstrated experience supporting VMware infrastructure in a mission critical enterprise environment � In-depth working knowledge on Virtualization platforms on VMware and Hyper-V, VMware skill sets mandatory � Excellent Working on knowledge on P2V and V2V Migrations using various VMware tools including VMware , vMotion ,vCenter and vConverter etc, Double-Take, Platespin . � Good System Admin Skills Linux/Windows and SAN storage skills � Excellent working on vCloud tools like vRealize Automation, vCloud Director. � Demonstrated experience in designing, implementing VMware vRealize Operations Manager, Site Recovery Manager, vRO, vRB etc � Good Understanding of Networking (VLAN, Access Ports), firewall and VMware NSX etc � In-depth knowledge on design and build VMware private cloud environment. � Good understanding of Network Insight Manager (NIM) � Good working knowledge on windows server family. � Should be good in PowerShell s#l scripting � High Availability and Fault Tolerance in VMWare � Experience in writing technical documents, runbooks, process. � Experienced with hardware installation and maintenance including Dell, HP, IBM etc. � Experience in designing, implementing and sustaining a framework for service support, capacity, availability, and disaster recovery � Experience with production systems support and change control � Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail � Ability to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
